This really looks like a cool text editor.  Will it replace my beloved TextWrangler?  Time will tell.

The price of Intel Core Duo chips is set to plummet on the 28th of May, and there’s faster chips coming along anyroadmap. Those include the 2.33GHz T2700, but this is only the start of better things from Chipzilla later this year.

This is good news for me. The AppleCare on my 900MHz G3 iBook is up in October, which is right around my birthday, so if the new MacBooks are cheap enough by then, I’ll be ready to buy.

God, I feel dirty

Last night I installed Windows XP on an Apple MacBook Pro.  Thanks to Apple's Boot Camp, the process is stupid easy.

In my defense, I did this on a machine I'm configuring for a switcher friend of mine; I'm hoping the presence of XP on the machine will give her some peace of mind as she plugs away with OS X.  It was sad, though, to see that dog-ugly Windows XP welcome screen come up.  Uncomfortable, even.  With any luck, that install will be the last time anyone ever sees Windows on that laptop.

I was looking around for information on iPod programming today and came across this page.  After reading the author's intro there, it struck me that perhaps the greatest thing about the iPod is that it has bridged the often contentious computer gap between Mac and PC users.  Whatever we may say about the shortcomings of our respectives OSes, at the end of the day we're all just music lovers, anyway.

So, if you believe in Heaven, it figures that you must also believe in Hell, no?  I have a hard time figuring out how this guy thinks he’s ever going to get anywhere near Heaven.
